01 · The shell we were given

The brief and approach

Sportsal wanted a sports retail space where display and merchandising did the selling, without an interior competing for the customer's attention.

We stripped the material palette back and let display fixtures, lighting and circulation carry the design every finish decision was tested against whether it let the product read first.
